Park Neutral Position Switch Removal

- DT 46434 Mainshaft Socket
- DT 46435 Mainshaft Socket Handle





1. Remove the range selector lever cover mount bolt (64) and the range selector lever cover (63).
2. Bend the lock washer locking tab (47) on the range selector lever (45).
3. Remove the range selector nut (49).
4. Remove the lock washer (47) and the spring washer (48).
5. Remove the range selector lever (45).





6. Bend the lock tabs of the park/neutral position switch shaft washer (43).
7. Using an adjustable wrench, hold the manual shift shaft (932) and remove the 16 mm locknut (46).
8. Remove the shaft washer (43).





9. Remove the 2 park/neutral position switch mount bolts (44).
10. Remove the park/neutral position switch assembly (42) from the transmission case housing (31).
