Sunroof / Moonroof Limit Switch: Description and Operation
LIMIT SWITCHThe sunroof limit switch controls the operation to soft stop the sunroof window in the vent position, when raising upward from the close position. As the sunroof window reaches the vent position, the limit switch will open, opening the ground path supplied to the sunroof switch through the sunroof limit switch range signal circuit.
IMPORTANT: If the sunroof actuator motor should need any repair or adjustment, once it is removed any turns of the motor or changes in the sunroof window position will result in improper timing. Refer to Sunroof Motor Synchronization.
