Ignition Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the steering column upper trim cover.





2. Remove the ignition switch fasteners.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
4. Remove the ignition switch.

Installation Procedure





1. Connect the electrical connectors.
2. Position the ignition switch.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the ignition switch fasteners.
Tighten the ignition switch fasteners to 1.5 Nm (13 inch lbs.).





4. Install the steering column upper trim cover.
5. Install the lock cylinder bezel.
