Camshaft Position Actuator Magnet Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the intake manifold cover.
2. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from the camshaft position actuator magnet.





3. Remove the camshaft position actuator magnet bolts.
4. Remove the camshaft position actuator magnet and O-ring seal.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the camshaft position actuator magnet O-ring seal and magnet.

Notice:
Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the camshaft position actuator magnet bolts.
Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).





3. Connect the engine harness electrical connector to the camshaft position actuator magnet.
4. Install the intake manifold cover.
