Steering Column Opening Filler Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the left instrument panel (I/P) outer trim cover.




2. Remove the steering column filler panel screws.
3. Pull out on the filler panel in order to release the retaining fasteners.




4. Disconnect the rear compartment release switch electrical connector.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the rear compartment release switch electrical connector.




2. Align the retaining fasteners with the I/P.
3. Push the filler panel in order to secure.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

4. Install the filler panel screws.

Tighten the filler panel screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

5. Install the left I/P outer trim cover.
