Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Outer

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the front screw from the front of the outer belt seal.

Important: A putty knife with the blade covered with tape may be needed to gently pry the belt seal from the flange.

2. Beginning in the front, lift the outer belt seal. Remove the outer belt seal.

Installation Procedure




1. Press the outer belt seal onto the flange.
2. Inspect the alignment of the front edge of the door to the outer belt seal

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

3. Install the outer belt seal screw.

Tighten the rear door outer belt seal screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
