Luggage Carrier Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Using a flat-bladed tool, carefully remove the finish covers (1, 2) from the luggage carrier side rails (4).
2. Remove the screws (3) that retain the side rails to the roof panel.
3. Remove the side rails from the roof panel.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the side rails (4) to the roof panel.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the screws (3) which retain the side rails to the roof panel, starting with the rearmost screws first on each side.

Tighten the luggage carrier side rail screws to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

3. Install and secure the finish covers (1, 2) to the side rails.
