Condition

Some customers may comment that the fuel filler cap tether is broken.

Correction





Replace the tethered fuel filler cap and tank pipe housing with a new designed cap and housing. The new tether will attach to the housing instead of the door hinge. Refer to the Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Housing Replacement procedure in SI. Be sure to remove any remaining broken pieces of the old tether.
