Instrument Panel Compartment Door Latch Release Handle Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the I/P compartment door. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Replacement .
2. Remove the compartment latch screws.
3. Remove the latch and rod assembly from the compartment door handle assembly.
4. Remove the U-clip from the handle assembly.
5. Remove the handle assembly from the compartment.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the handle assembly to the I/P compartment door.
2. Install the U-clip.
3. Position the latch and rod assembly to the compartment door.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice .

4. Install the latch screws.

Tighten the screws 2 N.m (18 lb in).

5. Install the I/P compartment door. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Replacement .
