Front Fender Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
2. Remove the rocker panel molding. Refer to Rocker Panel Molding Replacement .
3. Remove the mirror applique. Refer to Windshield Frame Applique Replacement .
4. Remove the windshield frame applique. Refer to Windshield Frame Applique Replacement .
5. Remove the bolts and nuts from the bottom, front, and top of the fender.
6. Remove antenna mast, if equipped. Refer to Fixed Antenna Mast Replacement .
7. Remove the fender from the vehicle.
8. If the fender requires replacement, remove the following components:
* The fender emblem-Refer to Front Fender Emblem/Nameplate Replacement .
* The fender brace-Refer to Front Fender Extension Bracket Replacement .
Installation Procedure
1. If the fender requires replacement, install the following components:
* The fender emblem-Refer to Front Fender Emblem/Nameplate Replacement .
* The fender brace-Refer to Front Fender Extension Bracket Replacement .
2. Position and align the front fender to the vehicle
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice .
3. Install the upper front fender to structure attachments bolts.
Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
4. Install the antenna mast, if equipped. Refer to Fixed Antenna Mast Replacement .
5. Install the following:
* The upper rear fender bracket bolt
* The lower front fender to structure attaching nuts
* The front fender lower rear bolts
Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
6. Install the windshield frame applique. Refer to Windshield Frame Applique Replacement .
7. Install the mirror applique. Refer to Windshield Frame Applique Replacement .
8. Install the rocker panel molding. Refer to Rocker Panel Molding Replacement .
9. Install the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
