Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Open the liftgate.
2. Remove the liftgate trim fasteners.
3. Pull on the lower part of the liftgate to disengage the attaching clips. Partially remove the liftgate trim.




4. Pull the liftgate trim from the liftgate structure and disconnect the liftgate lamp harnesses.
5. Disengage the upper liftgate attaching clips.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the liftgate trim hook over the wiper motor assembly. Slide the trim into position.
2. While holding the liftgate trim away from the structure, connect the liftgate lamp harnesses to the lamps.




3. Position the liftgate to the structure and snap into place.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice .

4. Install the fasteners.

Tighten the fasteners to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
