Liftgate Wedge Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the lift gate.
2. Remove the rear fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement .

3. Drill rivets from the wedge plate.
4. Remove the wedge plate from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Position the wedge plate to the vehicle.
2. Install the rivets into the wedge plate.
3. Close the lift gate, checking for proper engagement of the wedge plate to the lift gate.
