Rear Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the left front wheel.



2. Remove the rear cover bolts.
3. Remove the rear cover.
4. Inspect the oil guide for damage and replace as necessary.

Installation Procedure




1. Install sealant Saturn P/N 21019581 to the rear cover.





Important: The oil guide only installs in one direction. Ensure the oil guide is completely seated in the gear shafts.

2. Install the oil guide.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

3. Install the rear cover.

Tighten the rear cover bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

4. Install the left front wheel.
