Subject: Supersession of Battery Disconnect Unit (BDU) [Module Asm - Bat Engy Cont]

2007 Saturn VUE Green Line Hybrid
The original BDU assembly is being superseded to the same part numbers used in the 2007-2009 AURA vehicles. This replacement BDU has a shorter wiring harness pig tail, a different fan wiring connector and different programming.
To install the replacement BDU, it will be necessary to add a "jumper" to account for the wiring length change, replace the cooling fan assembly with one that has the new connector and program the BDU using SPS after installation into the vehicle. Refer to the Parts Information below for the replacement BDU, harness assembly-drive motor battery disconnect module and cooling fan assembly.

Important
The replacement BDU must be programmed with SPS after installation or DTC(s) will be set.
