Outside Rearview Mirror Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the mirror face. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Glass Replacement (Outside Rearview Mirror Glass Replacement).
2. Remove the mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement (Sedan) (Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement (Sedan)).




3. Remove the mirror motor attaching screws.
4. Remove the mirror motor from the mirror housing routing the electrical connector through the door opening.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the mirror motor to the mirror housing routing the electrical connector through the door opening.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice).

2. Install the mirror motor attaching screws.

Tighten the motor attaching screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

3. Install the mirror face. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Glass Replacement (Outside Rearview Mirror Glass Replacement).
4. Install the mirror. Refer to Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement (Sedan) (Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement (Sedan)).
