Transmission Mount Replacement - Left Side

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the battery box. Refer to Battery Box Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Install the engine support fixture. Refer to Engine Support Fixture (Engine Support Fixture) .
3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair) .




4. Remove the front transmission mount thru bolt.




5. Remove the rear transmission mount thru bolt (1).
6. Lower the vehicle.




7. Remove the transmission mount to transmission bolts.




8. Remove the transmission mount to frame rail bolts.
9. Using the engine support, lower the transmission in order to remove the transmission mount.
10. Remove the left transmission mount.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the left transmission mount.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the transmission mount to frame rail bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).

3. Using the engine support, raise the transmission until the transmission contacts the left transmission mount.




4. Install the transmission mount to transmission mount bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

5. Raise the vehicle.




6. Install the rear transmission mount thru bolt (1).

Tighten the bolt to 100 N.m (74 lb ft).





7. Install the front transmission mount thru bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 110 N.m (81 lb ft).

8. Lower the vehicle.
9. Remove the engine support fixture. Refer to Engine Support Fixture (Engine Support Fixture) .
10. Install the battery box. Refer to Battery Box Replacement (Service and Repair) .
