Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement - Bank 1 (Right Side) Exhaust

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the bank 1 exhaust camshaft position (CMP) sensor (8).




3. Remove the CMP sensor bolt.
4. Remove the CMP sensor.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the CMP sensor.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the CMP sensor bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).





3. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the bank 1 exhaust CMP sensor (8).
4. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (Service and Repair) .
