Clunk, Pop, Snap or Creak Noise From Rear of Vehicle (Adjust Sheet Metal)

Condition
Some customers may comment on a clunk, pop, snap or creak type noise coming from the rear of the vehicle.
Cause
There may be insufficient clearance between the bumper bar and the body sheet metal on the left or right side of the vehicle at the bumper beam attachment flange (left shown).
Correction
Adjust the body sheet metal forward above the bumper bar sheet metal attaching point. Adjust the sheet metal forward above the arrows in the illustration.
