Rear Seat Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the rear seat riser finish covers.
2. Remove the rear seat bolts (1).
3. Open the rear compartment floor stowage compartment cover and remove the foam insulator over the spare tire to gain access to the rear seat latches.




4. Unlatch the rear seat (2) by pushing forward on the seat latch buttons located on the inboard side of the lower rear seat latches.
5. Remove the seat from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the rear seat (2) to the vehicle, locating the front seat riser pins into the floor.
2. Secure the rear of the seat by pushing down on the back of the seat ensuring that the seat latch (1) is securely latched.
3. Install the foam insulator over the spare tire and close the rear compartment floor stowage compartment cover.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

4. Install the 2 seat attachments bolts (1) to the front of the seat risers and tighten the bolts to 40 Nm (30 lb ft).
