SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

REMOVAL
CAUTION: Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing. Service Precautions.
HINT: The procedure described below is for the driver side. Use the same procedure for both the front passenger and driver sides, unless otherwise specified.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY






(a) Push in the 2 lock buttons of the front seat headrest supports and remove the 2 front seat headrests.
3. REMOVE SEAT TRACK COVER






(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Disengage the claw and remove the seat track cover.
4. REMOVE SEAT TRACK INNER BRACKET COVER






(a) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped in protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the seat track inner bracket cover.
5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH






(a) Disconnect the buckle switch connector.
(b) Disconnect the airbag connector.
(1) Slide the slider and disconnect the airbag connector.
(c) Disengage the wiring harness clamp.






(d) Remove the 4 bolts and the front seat.
6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH






(a) Disconnect the front seat wire connector.
(b) Disconnect the airbag connector.
(1) Slide the slider and disconnect the airbag connector.
(c) Disengage the wiring harness clamp.






(d) Remove the 4 bolts and the front seat.
