Installation

INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL SPARE SWITCH HOLE COVER

(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the spare switch hole cover.

2. INSTALL LIGHT CONTROL RHEOSTAT Installation

3. INSTALL OUTER MIRROR SWITCH ASSEMBLY Installation

4. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

(a) Install 3 new No. 1 instrument panel cushions onto the instrument panel.

5. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

(a) Install the instrument panel cushion onto the instrument panel.

(b) Engage the 3 claws.

6. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL CUSHION

(a) Install the No. 2 instrument panel cushion onto the instrument panel.

7. INSTALL NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the No. 1 heater to register duct with the [A] screw.

8. INSTALL NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the No. 2 heater to register duct with the 5 [A] screws.

9. INSTALL ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

10. INSTALL NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT

(a) Install the No. 2 side defroster nozzle duct with the 2 [A] screws.

11. INSTALL DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the defroster nozzle with the 3 [A] screws.

(b) Engage the clamp.

12. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Installation

13. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 5 claws.

(b) Install the instrument panel with the 2 [F] bolts and 4 [B] screws.

(c) Engage the wire harness clamp.

(d) Install the instrument panel passenger airbag with the [G] bolts.

Torque : 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

(e) Engage the clamp.

(f) Install the antenna cord with the bolt.

(g) Connect all of the connectors.

14. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH Installation

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

16. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL

(a) Engage the 2 claws and 4 clips.

(b) Engage the clamp.

(c) Install the lower instrument panel with the 3 [F] bolts and [E] screw.

17. INSTALL UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 6 clips.

(b) Install the upper instrument panel with the [F] bolt.

18. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH

(a) Engage the 2 claws and 3 clips and install the instrument side panel RH.

19. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Installation

20. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 6 claws and 6 clips.

(b) Remove the protective tape.

(c) Install the lower instrument panel with the [C] bolt.

21. INSTALL STEREO OPENING COVER

(a) Install the stereo opening cover with the 4 bolts.

22. INSTALL CENTER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL

(a) Engage the clamp.

NOTICE:
To avoid damaging the clamp, do not rotate it during installation.

(b) Connect all of the connector.

(c) Engage the 6 clips and install the center No. 1 instrument cluster finish panel.

23. INSTALL LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the all connectors.

(b) Engage the 2 claws and connect the air mix damper control cable.

(c) Engage the 2 claws and connect the No. 2 heater control cable.

(d) Engage the 8 clips and install the lower center instrument cluster finish panel.

24. INSTALL FRONT CONSOLE BOX COVER

(a) Engage the 2 claws and 4 clips and install the front console box cover.

25. INSTALL CENTER LOWER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL

(a) Connect the 2 connectors.

(b) Engage the 4 clips and install the center lower instrument cluster finish panel.

26. INSTALL COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY Installation

27. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH NO. 1 PANEL

(a) Engage the 9 clips and install the instrument cluster finish No. 1 panel.

28. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY Installation

29. INSTALL CONSOLE UPPER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 8 claws and install the console upper panel.

30. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Installation

31. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH

(a) Engage the 2 claws and 4 clips and install the instrument side panel LH.

32. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL ASSEMBLY

(a) Engage the 3 claws and connect the hood lock control lever.

(b) Connect the connector.

(c) Engage the 2 claws and connect the DLC3 connector.

(d) Engage the 2 claws and 7 clips.

(e) Install the lower instrument panel with the 2 [C] bolts.

39. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY Installation

41. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

42. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
