How to Proceed With Troubleshooting





K41B CVT: CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSAXLE SYSTEM: HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING

* The ECM of this system is connected to the CAN communication system. Therefore, before starting troubleshooting, be sure to check that there is no trouble in the CAN communication system.

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS

(a) Refer to the customer problem analysis General Information.

3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE

Standard voltage:

11 to 14 V

If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

4. CONNECT TECHSTREAM TO DLC3*

5. CHECK AND CLEAR DTCS AND FREEZE FRAME DATA*
