BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY

3. REMOVE NO. 4 CROSSMEMBER FLOOR REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.





(b) Remove the 4 bolts and No. 4 crossmember floor reinforcement sub-assembly.

4. REMOVE YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and the yaw rate and acceleration sensor.





(b) Disconnect the yaw rate and acceleration sensor connector.
