Installation

2AZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: ECM: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL ECM

(a) Install the bracket onto the ECM with the 4 screws.





(b) Install the ECM with the 2 bolts.





Torque : 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)

(c) Connect the 2 ECM connectors.





(d) Install the 2 lock knobs and harness clamp.

(e) Install the wire harness clamp.

2. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY





(a) Install the air cleaner case sub-assembly with the 3 bolts

Torque : 7.0 Nm (71 kgf-cm, 62 in-lbf)

(b) Install the wire harness.

(c) Install the air cleaner filter element sub-assembly.

(d) Install and lock the air cleaner cap sub-assembly and air cleaner hose and then tighten the No. 1 air cleaner hose clamp.





(e) Connect the mass air flow meter connector.





(f) Install the wire harness.

3. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
