Installation





2AZ-FE STARTING: IGNITION SWITCH: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL IGNITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the ignition switch assembly with the 2 screws.





(b) Install the wire harness clamp and connect the 2 connectors.





2. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER (for Lower Side)

NOTICE:
If the steering column cover is installed in the incorrect order, it will not be possible to assemble the steering column cover.

(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the steering column cover.





(b) Engage the 4 claws.





(c) Engage the claw.

HINT
Press the area around the claw to engage it.





3. ADJUST SPIRAL CABLE Installation

4. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY Installation

5. INSTALL STEERING PAD Installation

6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

7. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
