U241E AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE: PARK / NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE BATTERY Removal

2. REMOVE NO. 2 BATTERY CARRIER Removal

3. REMOVE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector from the park/neutral position switch assembly.





(b) Remove the nut and disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the control shaft lever.





(c) Remove the nut and remove the control shaft lever.





(d) Using a screwdriver, pry off the lock plate.

(e) Using a screwdriver, pry out the lock plate. Then remove the manual valve shaft nut and lock plate.





(f) Remove the 2 bolts and pull the park/neutral position switch assembly out from the manual valve lever shaft.
