The crankshaft bearing caps (1) are machined together with the crankcase (2) and must not be interchanged.

The crankshaft bearing caps (1) are numbered consecutively, beginning at the first crankshaft bearing cap (1) on the timing case. The numbers are located on the right as seen from the output side. The crankshaft bearing cap (1) may only be mounted in this position.
