The bonding of the vehicle glazing for our model series exerts an important influence on durability, ride comfort, crash stability and functionality.
In terms of durability, the bonding of the vehicle glazing has an influence on the rigidity of the vehicle structure by way of the shear modulus of the bonding systems used and the repair bonding system. This could, e.g. be enhanced by the introduction of high modulus bonding systems by up to 10 %. This in turn contributes significantly to an increase in ride comfort. To guarantee the statutory requirements for passive vehicle safety, the same comprehensive trials are performed with the repair systems (crash test etc. ) as for the OEM bonding agents. Only systems which can fulfill these requirements in their entirety will be released.

The functionality of these bonding systems guarantees a perfect and assured component function such as undisturbed radio reception through maximum antenna output. To meet our requirements, bonding systems are necessary which have a volume resistance of >exp.-11 Ohm/cm. These high insulation properties also ensure excellent anti-corrosion properties in lightweight structures . In addition to this, these repair systems also come with OEM bonding agents of assured compatibility. The repair systems are adapted to meet the requirements placed by the workshops (simple application, short drive-away time after repair).
