Parking Brake System: Adjustments
Fig. 9 Parking brake adjustment:
1.
Pull the
parking brake lever, three to five times.
2.
Rotate the equalizer cable adjustment nut until play at ``A'' in
Fig. 9 is set at 0-.02 inch (0-.5 mm). Lock adjustment nut.
The brake lever mechanism should click six to seven times when a force of 55 lbs. is exerted on the lever.
