Disarming Air Bag

If it is necessary to remove an air bag component or disconnect an air bag component connector, use the following procedures:

^ Disconnect negative battery cable.
^ Disconnect positive battery cable.
^ Wait ten (10) minutes before disturbing air bag components.
^ Use reverse procedure when repairs are complete.
