REVISED FRONT AXLE HOUSING (STEERING KNUCKLE)





This is for information only.

The front axle housing (steering knuckle) has been modified in production starting with the preceding vehicle identification numbers.





The modified arm can be identified by the embossed JAPAN mark on the side of the arm.

The modified arm cannot be used in combination with an old one. (i.e. new arm on right side with old arm on left side).





The old and new parts are not interchangeable.





The change in dimensions of the axle housing (steering knuckle: requires a change in the disc cover. A modified steering knuckle must not be used in combination with an old style disc cover because of clearance discrepancies.

Always check and reset front toe when replacing an axle housing.
