Carburetor Application Correction: Overview

Subject : Correction To 1982 Service Manual (MSA-115)
The 1982 Service Manual MSA-115 page 4-5, figure 4-3 (See Figure 1) and page 4-7, figure 4-5 (See Figure 2) shows an orifice located in the main duty solenoid source line for all Hitachi Carburetor equipped vehicles.
This is an error.
The orifice is only in Manual Transmission vehicles equipped with Hitachi Carburetion.
Automatic Transmission vehicles were not produced with this orifice and should not have an orifice installed.
