Carburetor Models
TIMING PROCEDUREDistributor Vacuum Hose:
1.
Disconnect and plug
distributor vacuum hose(s).
2.
Connect timing light to No. 1 spark plug wire.
3.
With engine at idle, check timing.
4.
Rotate
distributor to obtain recommended setting.
Ignition Timing (BTDC): DL 4 Speed:
6°/650 rpm
DL 5 Speed:
8°/700 rpm
GL 5 Speed:
8°/700 rpm
GL A/T:
8°/800 rpm
