1. Park vehicle on a level surface.
2. Ensure tires are properly inflated.
3. On all models except Legacy and SVX, measure clearance as follows:
a. On front of vehicle, measure between front of transverse link attaching bolt and the ground, Fig. 8.
b. On all models except Justy, on rear of vehicle measure between lowest point of rear crossmember and the ground, Fig. 9.
c. On Justy models, on rear of vehicle measure between trailing link front bushing mount and the ground, Fig. 10.
4. On Impreza, Legacy & SVX models, take wheel arch height measurements as shown in Fig. 11.
5. On all models, refer to Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Specifications. If clearances are not as specified proceed as follows:
a. On conventional suspension, replace the respective coil springs.
b. On pneumatic suspensions, check for leaking air line or tank fittings, leaking or defective solenoid valves, defective control unit or height sensors. Repair as needed.
