A/C Cut Unit (A/T Only)PURPOSE
De-energizes the A/C compressor under heavy load conditions.
LOCATION
Above glove box.
OPERATION
The ECU uses signals from the pressure switch, vehicle speed sensor, crank angle sensor and throttle position sensor in determining A/C operation. The ECU uses those signals to disengage the A/C compressor under heavy load (full throttle) condtions, increasing acceleration response.
