Ignition Rotor: Description and Operation
Distributor Rotor:
PURPOSE Directs incoming voltage to the correct output terminal of the diastributor cap.
LOCATION On top of the diastributor shaft.
OPERATION As the distributor shaft rotates, so does the rotor. Voltage passes from the center to the output electrode, jumping the gap to the nearest output terminal of the
distributor cap.
