Throttle Full Close Switch: Adjustments

Throttle Sensor Adjustment:

1. Connect a continuity meter between terminals 1 and 2 of the throttle sensor as shown.
2. Hold throttle closed.
3. Continuity should be present.

Throttle Sensor Adjustment:

4. Insert 0.028 in (0.7 mm) feeler gauge between stopper screw and stopper (portion G).
5. Continuity should still be present.
6. Remove 0.028 in (0.7 mm) feeler gauge, and insert a 0.035 in (0.9mm) gauge.
7. Continuity should not be present.
8. Is readings are not as specified, loosen throttle sensor securing screws and rotate sensor until reading can be achieved.
