Clutch Fluid: Service and Repair

Clutch pedal adjustment for hydraulic application type systems is completed by bleeding clutch system.
1. Install one end of vinyl tube into air bleeder of clutch damper. Place other end in suitable container.
2. Slowly depress and hold clutch pedal, then open bleeder for 1 to 2 seconds.
3. Close bleeder, then release clutch pedal. Do not release clutch pedal with bleeder open.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until there are no air bubbles in vinyl tube. Tighten bleeder screw.
5. Repeat procedure using bleeder on operating cylinder.
6. Ensure no leaks are evident in system.
