VF-Power Supply System or Light Wiring Fault





DIAGNOSIS
- Faulty light wiring
- Faulty power supply system
- Faulty PCM (Power Steering Control Module)

SYMPTOM
- Warning light does not go out.





1. Check warning light wiring ("-" SIDE).
a. Turn ignition switch "OFF."
b. Disconnect PCM from connector.
c. Disconnect connector (i1).





d. Check continuity between PCM connector terminal and GND. Connector & Terminal/Specified resistance: (R91) No. 1-Body/1 M ohm, or more
e. Extract combination meter assembly.
f. Disconnect connector (i7).
g. Check continuity between connector (i7) terminal and GND. Connector & Terminal/Specified resistance: (i7) No. 9-Body/1 M ohm, or more
2. Check pcm power supply.
a. Turn ignition switch "OFF."
b. Disconnect PCM from connector.
c. Turn ignition switch "ON."





d. Measure voltage between PCM connector terminal and GND. Connector & Terminal/Specified voltage: (R91) No. 16-Body/10 V, or more
e. Check continuity between PCM connector terminal and GND. Connector & Terminal/Specified resistance: (R91) No. 13-Body/1 ohm. or less
3. Check harness between pcm and F/B (Fuse Block).
a. Disconnect PCM from connector.
b. Turn ignition switch "ON."





c. Measure voltage across connector (B44) terminal and GND. Connector & Terminal/Specified voltage: (B44) No. 4-Body/10 V, or more
