Tailgate Release Handle: Service and Repair
Rear Gate Outer HandleREMOVAL 1.
Remove the rear gate trim.
2.
Remove the rear wiper motor assembly.
3.
Remove the rear finisher.
4.
Remove the cable, and then remove two nuts.
5.
Remove the rear gate outer handle.
INSTALLATIONInstall in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE: Make sure the outer handle works properly after installation.
