Engine Controls - DTC P0171 Diagnostic Tip

If you encounter a P0171 on a 2004MY or 2005MY Legacy Turbo model, be sure to check for a loose vacuum connection on the small blue vacuum / fitting found under the intercooler. We have had a few reports of finding the hose coming off with the resulting P0171 and GEL. Also be sure to check the clips holding the air filter box are properly secured.
