Removal and Installation

Generator

REMOVAL




1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
2. Disconnect the connector and terminal from generator.




- 2.5L Non-turbo model (U5)




- 2.5L Non-turbo model (Except for U5)




- 3.0L Non-turbo model




- Turbo model

3. Remove the V-belt covers.
4. Remove the V-belts.




5. Remove the bolts which install the generator onto bracket.

INSTALLATION




Install in the reverse order of removal.

Tightening torque: 25 N.m (2.5 kgf.m, 18.1 ft.lb)

CAUTION: Check and adjust the V-belt tension.
