Front Vehicle Speed Sensor
FRONT VEHICLE SPEED SENSORThis vehicle speed sensor is a Hall element type sensor and is mounted on the inside of the transmission case. It detects the drive pinion shaft speed and sends pulse signals (16 pulses per rotation) to the
TCM.
Signals from the front and rear vehicle speed sensors are used to calculate controlling vehicle speed, which is in turn used for gear shift control.
