Engine - Air Filter Replacement Information
2005MY LEGACY & OUTBACK AIR FILTER
When installing the
air filter element into the interior air filter, please be certain it is installed correctly. Installation instructions indicate that the filter element should be installed in a certain direction, but the proper way is to rotate it 90 degrees. Please refer to the figures below for proper installation.
