Parking Brake Lever: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Set the wheel stoppers to tires.
2. Remove the console box.
3. Disconnect the parking brake switch connector.
4. Remove the parking cable adjusting nut (self-locking nut).

5. Remove the parking brake lever.

INSTALLATION
1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Tightening torque:
Parking brake lever 18 Nm (1.8 kgf-m, 13.0 ft. lbs.)
2. Install a new adjusting nut (self-locking nut).
3. Adjust the lever stroke.
