REMOVAL

1. Remove the rear door trim.
2. Remove the sealing cover.
3. Operate the power window switch to move the glass, and remove the two bolts.






4. Remove the glass from the carrier plate, and while holding the glass, lower the carrier plate alone to the lowest position.

CAUTION:
- Until the carrier plate is lowered to the lowest position, do not lower the glass alone to the lowest position in the door panel.
- Otherwise the glass may come off of the sash and become damaged.


5. Carefully lower the glass to the lowest position of the door panel
6. Remove the bolt and nuts and remove the sash. (Remove the upper attachment point first.)






7. Remove the glass run rubber.
8. Tilt the glass, and take out the door glass.

CAUTION: Avoid impact and damage to the glass.

INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION: Make sure that the glass run rubber is affixed securely to the door frame and sash.

Tightening torque: Refer to "COMPONENT of General Description". Ref. to REAR DOOR GLASS, COMPONENT, General Description.>
