Removal and Replacement

Starter

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the ground cable from battery.

2. Remove the air intake chamber. (Non-turbo model)
3. Remove the intercooler. (Turbo model)
4. Remove the air intake chamber stay LH. (2.5 L non-turbo model)
5. Disconnect the connector and terminal from starter.

6. Remove the starter from transmission.

INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Tightening torque: 50 N.m (5.1 kgf.m, 36.9 ft.lb)
