Tailgate Latch: Service and Repair
Rear Gate Latch AssemblyREMOVAL 1.
Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
2.
Remove the rear gate trim.
3.
Disconnect the harness connector of rear gate latch assembly.
4.
Remove the two screws.
5.
Remove the rear gate latch assembly.
INSTALLATIONInstall in the reverse order of removal.
Tightening torque: N.m (kgf.m, ft.lb)
T1: 18 (1.8, 13.3)
T2: 25 (2.5, 18.4)
