1. Loosen clutch cable locknut and turn adjusting nut as necessary until clutch pedal height is as follows:
a. On 1989 Samurai models, clutch pedal should be even with brake pedal, Fig. 1.
b. On Sidekick models, clutch pedal should be 5 mm higher than brake pedal, Fig. 2.
c. On Swift models, clutch pedal should be 8 mm higher than brake pedal, Fig. 3.

2. Tighten locknut after adjustment is completed.
