Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection

DUAL PRESSURE SWITCH





This vehicle is equipped with switch which operates according to high or low pressure.

Inspection
1) Check switches for continuity at normal temperature (approx. 25°C, 77°F) when A/C system has a proper charge of refrigerant and when A/C system (compressor) is under operation. In each of these cases, switches should show porper continuity.





2) When pressure is following specified pressure,switch should show no continuity.
